RVA Group to Present at 9th Global Asbestos Forum Conference

RVA Group is pleased to announce that Matthew Waller will be speaking at the 9th Global Asbestos Forum Conference, taking place in Birmingham, UK, on 16–17 November 2026.

With this year’s conference theme – “Asbestos: A Call to Action”, the conference will bring together industry professionals and stakeholders to share knowledge, experience and best practice in addressing the ongoing challenges associated with asbestos.

A challenging industrial case study

Matthew will present “A Difficult Case Study: The Asbestos Removal and Demolition of a 1940s-Built Power Station”, examining a complex project involving asbestos removal and the demolition of an ageing industrial facility.

Projects of this nature require careful planning, robust risk management and a coordinated approach to ensure that asbestos-related hazards are managed appropriately throughout the demolition process.

The case study will provide an opportunity to explore the challenges associated with asbestos removal and demolition within an older industrial facility, highlighting the importance of effective project management and safety-led decision-making.

Sharing experience and industry knowledge

RVA Group welcomes opportunities to share practical experience and contribute to discussions that support safer, more effective approaches to asbestos management and industrial decommissioning.
